Compatibility and verification #
Compatibility belongs to an exact machine/controller/firmware combination, transport and adapter version. A manufacturer name is not sufficient.
| Level | Capability |
|---|---|
| L0 | Connectivity only |
| L1 | Observed status/telemetry |
| L2 | Inferred cycle state |
| L3 | Vend/start through verified pulse/credit interface |
| L4 | Serial/native machine protocol |
| L5 | Rich OEM/cloud/native integration |
| Family | Current reference status | Published wiring |
|---|---|---|
| Alliance / Speed Queen | Requires authoritative controller documents and physical acceptance | None |
| Electrolux Professional Compass Pro | Requires authoritative controller documents and physical acceptance | None |
| Dexter vended C/X-series | Requires authoritative controller documents and physical acceptance | None |
| Girbau vended equipment | Requires authoritative controller documents and physical acceptance | None |
The bundled machine and energy-meter simulators prove software paths only. They have no production compatibility level. Missing optional hardware can reduce capabilities without invalidating a simulator test, but cannot count as a physical acceptance result.
Evidence required for a wiring page #
Before publishing supported wiring, record the OEM source manual and revision, exact tested model/controller/firmware, connector designations and pins, signal direction, nominal and measured electrical values, isolation hardware, required configuration, idle/active readings, safe test procedure and verification date. Include rights-cleared photos or original Dataplicity diagrams, acceptance evidence and rollback/removal instructions. Cite manufacturer sources; do not republish copyrighted OEM schematics or infer a pinout from another controller.
Bench and physical acceptance must cover busy/reject, duplicate prevention, power loss during dispatch, machine/gateway/network disconnection, recovery, stale state, out-of-service, permissions and supported remote actions. The first production reference requires Alliance/Speed Queen physical-machine proof. Subsequent families remain separately labelled until their own evidence is complete.
