Pause device access

For customer-controlled maintenance windows, create a local pause and recovery runbook for the agent generation, Linux image, and service manager in your deployment.

Before promising customer-controlled access:

1. Confirm the installed agent generation and service manager.
2. Agree how access will be paused and restored locally.
3. Test reconnection after a reboot and network interruption.
4. Confirm how the action appears in event or audit history.
5. Keep a recovery path that does not depend on the paused remote connection.
